Gail,
I would return it. Your JCC will understand when you tell her it isn't tracking your steps properly. Also, great job on staying on track! That's amazing. What an accomplishment! YOU GO GIRL! ;) :)
God bless,
Kayla

Good luck Gail!!! Let us know how it goes...........keeping my fingers crossed for you to hit 20 down......I know that it really helped to motivate me when I hit that mark, so, keep up your hard work!
I had a rough couple a days, but it could have been worse if chocolate was here, so I was thankfull that I didn't go buying any to tempt me even worse. Some times I just feel like I've got to have a break from the JC food and I've noticed that if I do that, i can recommit and focus sooo much better. I know it changes my sodium intake the most, but I have to have a balance if it's gonna be long term........The mio sweet tea has definitely been a goooood thing for me tho, lovin it!

Had results! But didn't quite hit the 20 lb mark tonight. I lost 1.4. I needed to lose 2. Next week it'll happen. I'll be going Wednesday, not Monday, I'll be out of town Monday and busy Tuesday next week. So again, don't freak out or worry, I won't be here, haha. Using a pedometer this past week has motivated me to go out on my walks so I can log my steps and calories burned to bring in and show my consultant. Makes me not want to slack off.

Great to hear Gail!!! Keep it up while you are traveling! I had a .4 gain (my TOM and too many beers/off plan meals over the weekend) :( but, it is what it is!!! I plan on being my strict old self this week, so, all the more motivation for me to get back at it and prove that that scale won't kill me!!! Have a great week!

Just wanted to touch base and say Hi, I'm doing good! This week has gone great. I can feel a difference in my pants again, they're SO loose to the point they're uncomfortable, which is great but also annoying, haha. I'm going out of town tonight so I won't be going to my normally scheduled weigh in, will be going Wednesday instead. But I really feel I'll finally hit the 20 lb mark. I'm so close, less than a lb away! So I know I can do it. My new thing that keeps me motivated these last two weeks is wearing a pedometer. I can compare my steps and calories burned for both my walks and amounts by the end of the day. It's pretty awesome.

Hope everyone's doing great, keep up the good work, we can do it!

I should have had a pedometer yesterday!!! I was working outside and I had this little area that I weeded then planted some bulbs in and I just wanted to finish it out so since my wheeelbarrow was lodged in the shed behind heavy things, argh, I walked with a shovel load of mulch back and forth across the driveway! I told myself that it would have been cool to know how many steps that was! Thankfully it was a small area, but, I was tired all the same afterwards, but I like how it looks :)

Glad to hear you've had a good couple of weeks and let us know on Wednesday!! Best of luck traveling and be sure to watch your sodium intake while away --- and drink up that water! :)

aw.........great to hear from you Kayla! Whenever you have time, I love reading your 2 cents, you are always so postive, thank YOU! And you are just killin' it I might say! Almost 27 # now, really great to hear and before long, you'll need another pic up! :) I see you put up a ticker til your halfway goal, that's cool and you are narrowing in on it! I have 3.6 til I'm halfway, wow, that just seems impossible, but I'm very happy! Have a great week ! Doing anything exciting or trying anything new?

aw thanks Michelle, . I am not doing anything that exciting this week. We are having my grandmother's 60th birthday on sunday. UGH, hahah I have to not have any fondue or cheese cake or brownies! I will have the will power it's just going to be tough. I'm lucky to come from a large family so that I can play with my cousins who are all under the age of 6 all 7 of them! I have many more but they are older. It's a good distraction from the food, plus they love for me to do their hair haha. I hope you're having a great week, keep up the amazing work you're looking awesome! :D
God bless,
Kayla

yeppers, those parties are killer! So, I'm glad you have the willpower! You could always plan the 250 calorie splurge for that day! You could plan early and enjoy every morsel that way! That sounds fun to play with the kiddos and a GREAT planned distraction! You've got this down! Thanks for the compliment, it's starting to sink in that I can get to my goal and stay there! :)

Well I gained but only .6, not even a whole pound. I half expected it anyway since I'm on a very heavy period that started just yesterday. So that's actually pretty good I guess. But that also means I did not hit 20 lbs lost yet, so very close! My normal meetings are Mondays but I had a lot going on this week so I couldn't go in til tonight, but I will be going back to Monday nights, so I'll keep you posted Monday night. Short week til my next weigh in. The pedometer really keeps me motivated to go on my walks so I think that helped with my weigh in today even though it was a tiny gain. Could've been worse. Just gotta stay motivated, eat right, and keep active! Hope you are all doing great! : )

I so would love to lose another 5lbs at my weigh in on Wednesday, like my first week...then I can celebrate the 10lb mark!

Well, you will have a much better week next week I'm sure Gail! :) Over traveling for a little while? I know I've got trips coming up and i have been soooo good lately getting ready for them, but I know that it's gonna be bumpy for a while as I navigate through going out to eat while I am away from home! keep your chin up! You can get there! :)

Hey just wanted to touch base. I didn't go to my weigh in yesterday, I was very sick, but I had my husband pick up my food order. I'm feeling better today, went on a walk, and getting back on track this week. I kind of slacked off on my walks last week due to a heavy period. It was still lingering yesterday so I might have either stayed the same or had another small gain but who knows. But I am motivated to have a big loss at my next weigh in next Monday.

Hope you're all doing great!

Uh, you know that ON AVERAGE people lose 1-2 lbs. a week (and some of us lose in ounces - like me for the most part) and while we would ALL love to drop the weight in 5 lb. increments, it's likely NOT going to happen and you have to remember that it's not only healthier for you to lose the weight slowly, it's also healthier for you mentally because that way you have time to LEARN how to eat once you hit goal and KEEP IT OFF!!! :)

You'll be surprised how quickly the time will pass until you get to goal and how great you'll feel with each loss "victory" no matter the amount.

We're here and we're cheering you on!!! :)

Gail, hope you're feeling better soon! It's been a while since I had my period (I'm old - LOL) but I remember how bad you can feel when "Aunt Flo" visits but you know you will actually feel better if you can get out and walk a bit. I'm not sure why that helps with cramps but it does! :)
