Holiday success?

Yesterday, for some reason, I was STARVING all day long. In fact, at one point, my DH and I were watching a movie around lunchtime and there was only 20 minutes left and I stopped the movie just so I could have my lunch (a non-JC meal of leftovers) and I thought for sure from eating a "healthy but substantial" round of three meals yesterday that today the scale would have been up. Instead, it went down a pound. Hmmmm.
On the other hand, I think I've been so nervous about gaining weight that I probably have not been eating more than 1,200 calories for the day so instead of being on "maintenance," I've inadvertently put myself back on the "losing" calorie range.
As for the daily fluctuations, I don't worry about them too much unless I see the scale jump like three pounds for a few days and I know it was because of poor eating and not just a temporary water weight or other explainable reason.
If that happens, I'll REALLY PAY ATTENTION and make sure I'm in the "losing" meal plan and not the maintaining one. And if it should ever reach 5 lbs. over, I'm heading straight back to my center for a week or two of JC meals.
