Returning Clients

However, after the trip, we both slid back into demotivation. I think this was partly due to the fact that the counselor we had, left for another job and we then bounced around several counselors. Mainly though, I received a promotion at work and resorted to all my old habits and was working 11 - 13 hours/day.
I was wondering if anyone out there is a returning client, and what their experience has been like?
How much has the structure of the program changed in the last 4 years?

Alot of us here on the boards are returnee's.....so you are in good company
Speaking for myself, the structure of the program is what helped me to succeed....as you can see by my ticker at the bottom. I believe that is why JC was voted the #1 weight loss program over the others. The plan is so easy to follow....not to mention the tools and concepts they teach so you can maintain and have lasting results. Oh, and the food is STILL delish!!!!!
Hope you decide to join jc again.....and join us here on the boards, we have some awesome folks here that will keep you inspired and encouraged!

JC and the rest of us will welcome you with open arms.
I'm also a returnee. I initially lost 45 lbs., kept it off for about 4 years, got lax, put about 10 lbs. back and realized that I was heading down a slippery slope so I ran back to Jenny. Lost the weight and have been back to maintaining over the last few months and I still made it through the holidays.
Love the food, the folks on the boards are great, and I'm really focusing on my motivation for why I want to be thinner - it's healthier!
When you and your lovely lady were getting married, your wedding was good short term motivation. So now you need to come up with a more long-lasting one (or two or three or four...) so that when your short-term goals are reached, you'll still remember why you're doing this.
And, yes, it's rough when you lose a JCC that you really click with. But if you search around you'll still find someone you like. And although they may come and go, most of us are here to stay on the boards to help each other...and ourselves to stay motivated.
I also used to work ridiculous hours in the special event industry so I know that it's much more difficult when you're working so much but it CAN be done. We have nurses, sales people, folks who travel around the country for weeks at a time and they all have figured ways to making this work. So, as I said before, it comes down to how strongly you want it. If you do, then you can once again lose the weight AND THIS TIME, maintain it!
C'mon back! We'd love to see you both return "to the fold."

So, I joined way on back in 2006 and lost 30lbs. I kept that off for years and went back two years ago after gaining 10 of that 30 back. I lost that 10 plus another 10. Now, I'm back up +30 because of some stressors and work changes. I know better than to try another diet program when jenny works for me every single time and nothing else seems to work. Every time i've quit before getting to goal was from food boredom, so every time i go back, i try to combat that boredom but it always seems to creep up at some point.
Every time I come back, they welcome me with open arms, no questions asked. Luckily i paid for a lifetime membership back in 2006 so I don't have to pay such high prices when i go back :-)
2006: 30lbs lost
2009: 10 lbs lost
2010: 20 lbs lost
January 2012: Came back again to take off the 20lbs I've gained plus more!

so...at my lowest(mentally) and my highest(weight) i decided this is the best time to just get myself back on track and truly help myself and stick to it! i am currently single, about to get a certification for my chosen career, i plan on getting a job and strictly doing jenny craig for about 3-8 months..yes this is a BIG investment but i feel like jenny craig was the only diet plan that worked for me, so its worth it.
i would love to not do this alone, so if anyone wants to have an online buddy for motivation, friendly chats, i am here!
my goal: lose 50-80 lbs in 8 months
my motivation: look good, feel good, be healthy and my job!
my concerns: the cost!!
my fears: doing it alone

For example, I had to go to work at 6:00 p.m. last night. I usually eat dinner at 5:00 then last snack at 7:00. So, I at my JC dinner at 4:00, had my veggie in the car with was a bag of carrot chips, carrots cut like potato chips, and brought my yogurt, JC snack and an extra fruit. It worked out great!!
Both of you deserve to come back for yourselves. Like it was said, the short-term goal has passed, time to make more lasting ones, ones that will affect your future health and wellbeing.
Welcome!!
