I reached the halfway point on my weight loss this week AND finished week 5 of the C25K. I was able to run 20 minutes straight last night (even if it was only at a 12 min pace). This has been a very slow progression - it's taken almost four months to get through the first "five weeks" of training. Might take another few months to reach week 9, but I know that I can do it. My family told me I could never be a runner because I have asthma - special thanks for my doctor who has finally helped me find the right mix of meds. Asthma, shmasthma - I'm going for a jog. :)

You give me hope! I have asthma as well and have had issues with riding my bike in the cooler weather. I end up coughing and wheezing for 2 - 3 hours afterwards so I therefore have pretty much stopped for the winter. I am hoping as the weight comes off, the asthma will get better and better.

Great job on reaching halfway to goal and the Couch to 5k. I made it to week 3 but then started having problems with my knees so I know firsthand it is not an easy thing to do. Congratulations.
