When I attempt to change my avitar to a new picture, this functionality does not appear to be working correctly.

I am clicking on my avitar and then clicking the Change link. All that comes up is a line with an x on the right side of the line. It looks like there should be a box there, but all that is showing is the line with the box.

I've looked at this in both IE8 and in Firefox and they are both exhibiting the same behavior.

Update, I tried it with Chrome as well. Same behavior.

I do apologize for the inconvenience the website is causing you. If you are experiencing issues with the new uploader than it it likely the issue is related to a cacheing issue with your browser. Try hitting CTRL + F5 together which should force your browser to clear the cache. Then you click on your name to bring up the drop down and click on My Settings. From there you would click on "Change my photo" and a fancy window will pop-up allowing you to upload a new photo and crop it to your satisfaction. Please let us know if you have further issues.

Well, I did all that already and just now tried it again. The fancy window did NOT pop-up. All I get is the horizontal bar with an x on the right side.

Yeah, definitely not seeing that at all... I can upload a screenshot if you need it.

However, it is just as I described.

Hello. Unfortunately we are having difficulties duplicating the issue you are reporting. Are you able to attempt updating your photo from a different computer just to help rule out that it could be setting with your browser? If you don't have access to another computer can you trying using a different browser. Please make sure that you have cleared your browser cache. If you'd like to just attach the photo you'd like to update to this thread (from the More Reply Options) or email it to community@jennycraig.com I would be more than happy to update it for you. I do apologize for the inconvenience you are experiencing with the website.

As I indicated I tried with OE8,
Mozilla, and Chrome. I did it on 2 different computers. I did clear my cache. I will try it on one more. I have several to pick from. Give me a few.

It has to have something to do with my userid. I've tried it on XP, Vista, Windows 7, on OE8, Firefox, Chrome. Always the same results. I will send you a screenshot with my user information so you can see it for yourself.

I think they will be able to fix it now that they have replicated the issue. As a software developer, I always said that I could fix anything I could replicate. I've never had an instance where that wasn't true. This one has something to do with our user settings I believe because some userids work fine while others do not. It may be a setting that we don't even have the access to change. The webmasters will figure it out.

Userids are what you use to log into the forums. It is what makes my login different from yours. How the forum keeps track of your conversation vs mine, etc.
