I referred my friend to Jenny Craig and she wound up joining a different location but just 2 towns over. They told her there was no discount for her being referred by me. Meanwhile, my center said they only give discounts if she came into the same center. That's totally lame. There is no question that my friend joined because of all the good things I have to say about JC. Today.... not so many good things.

Am I missing something?

My friend referred me and I joined a totally different center and they gave me the discount. Later I referred my sister (who lives in another country) and she got the discount.

Well this CLEARLY isnt fair....esspecially if some center's are honoring it. I would def call corporate or maybe call the 1-800-jennycare number first....or 1-800-597-jenny. They do not want unhappy clients, so hopefully they will straighten this out for you.

Pls come back and let us know......inquiring minds want to know ;)

I wonder if some centres are "corporate" and some are "franchises"?

Yeppers.....I have heard they arent all corporately owned, which is probably why they dont have to give the referrel discount.....but you think they would just to make their clients happy. Happy clients = more business.

Yes, there are franchises and there are corporate offices.

When I spoke to someone at corporate who was down here, he told me that that's one of their goals is to make sure that the franchises offer the same benefits, discounts, etc. as the corporate offices so that there's no confusion or differences from office to office.
