Hi All -- I heard this week that there may be a new "Bakery Style Cupcake" coming in January. Anyone heard of any others? Let's start posting those rumors....

Especially since there are many sad over the potential Turkey Burger loss and the retirement of the Pumpkin Cranberry Loaf.

Anyone else able to spread a little holiday food cheer?

Cupcakes will always be welcome in my book! Haven't heard any other food rumors, but I will be sure to grill my JCC about it this Wednesday... I would be sorely sad to see the Turkey burger disappear. :(

Birthday Cupcake
Floretine breakfast pizza ( spinach bacon and eggs)
Parm Crusted Fish
Banana Fosters Cheese Cake
Sugar and Spice oatmeal

Also, the TB isn't going anywhere. There was a shortage a few months ago, but it hasn't been D/C'd

Hey Ladies,

I think the pizza and fish should be coming really soon because it is already on the bodymedia website and new foods don't show up on there until they have been out for a while.

Can't wait for the cupcake!!

In November, I participated in a consumer "taste test " for Jenny Craig and their new bakery items. We had to judge the following items:
1.red velvet cupcake vs chocolate brownie bar
2."twinkie" vs birthday cake
3. the existing cinnamon bun vs another cinnamon bun

The red velvet was yummy, so was the twinkie! Also the existing cinnamon buns were far better than the other presented. Im hoping to see these items soon!
There were groups judging entrees, savory snacks etc... It was fun! Thats my bit of news!

"Little Debbie" brand has a red velvet cake for 100 calories that is awesome. I would never think there was anything diet about it. My husband will eat 2 or 3, but compared to the half a bag of Oreos, it's still less calories.

All of this sounds AWESOME! Can't wait to try them! I've especially been wanting more fish options from Jenny. While I love salmon, theirs is not so great IMO. The pizza sounds great too, but I find all of Jenny's pizzas are better heated in the oven. I might not be that patient in the morning for pizza!

I would definitely try the Parmesan Crusted Fish and the Cheese cake. At least until my Rewards Program runs out.

My JCC received all of 9 cases of that pizza and I just happened to snag a box. AMAZING! The flatbread was a little "tough" since I just popped it in the microwave, but flavor-wise this is an amazing option.

I can't wait to try the rest! I just came back to JC since being off for a few months and was bummed to see that all of the temporary food choices had run out.

And as far as Lent goes, we need a meatless option for lunch again! I miss my enchiladas.
Since starting JC on 02/07/2011.

Re-started on 01/09/2012...

Every time I look at the menu they're taking away another lunch. What gives! We need more choices, not less. I'm getting tired of eating the same 8 or 9 items week after week. Has anyone heard about new lunch foods coming out soon?

My fav breakfast is the florentine breakfast pizzas, I'd hate to see them go! I agree that some new fish dishes would be great, i'm not a teriaki fan so that only leaves the fish and chips. As for dessert, new cupcakes sound like heaven! I can't get enough of the dessert, especially the cakes and the cinnamon twists!

I *love* the florentine breakfast pizza. The cheese tastes like real cheddar unlike the weird cheese on the omlette. I also tried the bananas foster cheescake which was just ok, but probably wont get it again. I cant wait to try the parm crusted fish and the cupcakes!

Omg, cupcakes sound amazing! I am hoping for cupcakes of ice cream, althought there are a couple ice cream subs out there! I love the turkey burger, like everyone else, and the pizzas you can't go wrong with! The fish sounds..okay. But I am open to trying more foods since some of the foods this past week I thought I wouldn't like (ie meatloaf, sweedish meatballs); I loved em! So, I am excited for trying new foods, and open to it for sure.
