WWell here I am back at Jenny again. Five years ago, after trying many other programs I joined Jenny again but this time it was the home program. I was very successful back then and I looked ten years younger. I am 62 and it is extremely difficult to manage weight when your metabolism has retired along with the other retirement, lol. I had joined another program two weeks ago thinking because it had a popular name that it would have good support and tasty food. P.U. and I do mean P.U. All and I do mean all the food is watery and tasteless. When I called to cancel knowing I had made a big mistake they told me I had a four week commitment and it hit the fan. Long story short I had always had a great experience with Jenny. I yelled my way to a cancellation of the other program and immediately called Jenny. Time is rapidly passing me by and I can't keep stalling this weight loss. I need to lose 40 lb and with high blood pressure and high cholesterol for many years it is not a question of good looks now, it is a question of health and a longer life. If you are in your 60s and you are having good results please post a reply and let me know how you are sticking to this. Glad to be back. Glad I got out of the watery food and waiting for my Jenny shipment next week.

Hi & Welcome Back
I restarted Jenny last week again. So I really can relate to you. We have more in common than rejoining/age.... I was also on another food delivery program (before rejoining Jenny) and the food was yucky

I lost 45 lbs. on Jenny when I was 58. It took over a year (I'm a REALLY slow loser but I figured if I was going to change my eating habits for life, what was a little more time to get to goal.)
Oh, and I was able to go off Lipitor! Yea!
I kept it off until earlier this year at age 62 and then I made a stupid mistake and gained 10 back before returning to Jenny. I lost it several months ago and I'm maintaining nicely.
Yes, it's harder the older we get but there's no reason that we can't be healthy AND still be asked for our ID when asking for senior discounts.
Hope to see you on the boards often. Yes, most of us have been on every diet known to man including the "icky food" diets and the just plain bizarre ones (remember the cabbage soup diet - LOL). We're a widely diverse "family" but a loving, funny and supportive one and I hope you'll enjoy joining us.

I am 58 - soon to be 59 and I have been on Jenny since June and have lost 42.2 pounds so far. It is slow, but I figure, what else am I doing, right????
You are in good company here. The group is great.... supportive and helpful. Best of all the Jenny food is pretty good!!
