For a while, I tried another diet that shipped food to my home. I have a couple shelves with nothing but that food on them so I guess that tells you what I thought about the taste. Please tell me how you feel about the taste of JC food. It got so boring eating food with tomato paste/sauce all the time. My other concern about the food. Is there a special menu for diabetics?

Welcome to the boards!

There's no "diabetic" menu, per se, but the program is based on limited carbs and sugars and we have a number of diabetics on the program.

I'm sure if you bring the nutrition info to your doctor, he can say "yay" or "nay." So far, all of the doctors I've heard about are giving the go ahead to do Jenny.

As for the taste of the food, if you stick to the frozen meals, they're yummy!! Of course there will be some dishes you'll like more than others (everyone's taste is different just as it is with "real" food) but, trust me, I was on Jenny for over a year and I enjoyed the food immensely.

There's lots of things to choose from for breakfast, lunch, dinner and SNACKS!!!! Yes, you can even have cheesecake and brownies! Soooo good! :)

Go to your local center (they also have a direct program where you can have it shipped to you if you're not near a center) and see if they will give you a "trial pack" to try. Someone recently said they were able to get a three-day supply (for purchase, of course) and she liked it so much, she signed up for the program.

I'm not sure if that's offered at all of the centers, but it's worth calling (1-800-597-5366) or using the CONTACT US option at the top of the page to speak to a Jenny consultant.

Try it! If you're like the tens of thousands of us who are on Jenny, I think you'll love it as much as we do. :)

Jenny's food is delicious, in my opinion! I would even go so far as to say it tastes better than the frozen microwavable meals you can buy at grocery stores (like Lean Cuisine, et cetera). Plus there is such a huge variety, it is definitely NOT all covered in pasta sauce. Jenny has great sandwiches, as well as different pastas, and even pizza too! I especially like their breakfast options.

You can probably find more information about Jenny and diabetic clients at http://www.jennycraig.com/type2

I did the 3 day taste of success program before I started Jenny. You can order it online, and if you then sign up, they'll take the cost of the trial package off your first week's meals. That will give you a good idea of whether you like the food before you start.

I looooove Jenny food! Cheesecake, S'mores bars, Salisbury Steak, the cereals, the breakfast scramble, fish & chips, Santa Fe Rice Bowl, & so much more! Also, I've only been on the program for 1 month! Love it!
