Good morning all,

On my journey so far iv lost 50 pounds, and Im at the point here where im really enjoying the volumetrics as well as just adding new things to my meals to change them up a bit. I still have about 26 pounds to go. so I have to stay inspired, So I thought I would pop in once in a while and post some pics of how I spice my meals up. Please feel free to add your pics as well as I know for every one as well as vegetarians some times we just need some new ideas so we dont get bored with the same stuff all the time. So here are 2 meals that I really enjoy.

The first is the beef chow mein, so I saute some onions, garlic and fresh spinich, and one seving of light tofu, or one veggie hot dog, which ever Ihave at the time, chopped up into bite size, set that a side, then heat my JC meal up, since I dont eat meat, but love this dish, I remove the beef and give it to my son or husband to eat. then in a big bowl I toss all of my chow mein meal in add my sauteveggies and tofu or Hot dog and toss all together, I like spice so i also add in some fresh chili flakes as well, here is my pic, and this one hasveggie dog in it and a little carrot as well and cherri tomato.

My favorite cereal is the cranberry almond, So here is how I volumize it up, I take one of my fat free vanilla yogurts and put it in a big bowl,(I love putting evrything into one bowl, less didhes to wash)Lol. then pour my cranberry almond cereal on top, then slice up a delicious red apple and put it in then top it off with a sprinkle of cinnamon which is a spice that is so good for you this time of year, and WOW, all of a sudden iv turned I tiny little bit of cereal into the most amazing and very filling healthy breakfast. The almonds and yogurt are both a great way for me to get my protein in as well. Here is my picture below,

P.S.
I meant to add that when I dont want to cook, or short on time, instead the veggies, I sometimes make my big saled and put my dressing on it, a splash of low sodiom soy sauce, my chili flakes and then add my JC chow mein meal with tofu on top and toss it all together. That is sooooooooo good too. Dont have a pic of that yet. LOl

No photo, but the other day I was out at a picnic with my sons school, so I packed a saled I made up and grabbed my honey musterd prezels for later, well as i ate my saled I thought hmm I bet those prezels would bee good in this, so I tossed them in and stir around and it was like the best crutons you could amagine. I loved it, so just wanted to share yet another way to make a saled a bit more interesting.

That's a great suggestion. I have a bag of pretzels and I don't like to eat them plain so I was looking for a way to use them. Thanks!
