It was AMAZING! Hubby and I just celebrated our 10 year anniversary and we had always wanted to go. Needless to say, when I'm stressed, my memories of Italy are my "happy place."

Yes, because it would be so easy to stick to a healthy eating plan in Italy! LOL

Seriously, I know there are the healthier things to eat (both sets of my grandparents came from Italy along with all of their siblings) and the food is fresh and fabulous but wow - they can be high in calories and fat (albeit good fat, but nevertheless, fat).

But I also love watching HGTV on House Hunters International when they go to Europe - especially "the old country " - Italy. My ancestors home.

Hey ladies. Haven't popped in to say "hi" in a while and wanted to do that today. Hope everyone had a great holiday and is off to a great first month of the new year. I am happy to report that that I am down 43 lbs as of today and am feeling the best that I have in over ten years. I feel so fortunate to have gotten back my energy and stamina-- I feel like a new person! Have a great Friday, everyone!!
