Pretty happy with everything right about now! 2 full months on Jenny and I have lost 13 pounds and almost as many inches. Was thinking this morning that this time around, I have learned so much about myself and understanding the right things to do to lead a healthy lifestyle.

What I have learned so far:
1. Stress is not my friend - wow, talk about the one factor for me that makes the scale act like a stubborn old nag that won't leave the barn! I can stick to the program 100% but if I am stressed, I feel like I just ate a whole pizza and pitcher of margueritas while sitting on my *** for 24 hours straight, with a bag of chips at my feet!

2. Water - and water and water, with a little more water thrown in! Not decaf coffee, not decaf tea ... pure, wonderful clear water is the best thing to flush out the system and to keep my skin clear, hair healthly and to sleep well. When I don't get enough water, I wake up at 3am and have to drink something!

3. Forums - when you are a Jenny Direct client, these forums are where you need to be every day, if not twice a day. There are so many other Jenny folks out there who have been there and done that. There isn't something that I haven't thought of that I didn't find the answer on these boards. I have not felt alone on this journey due to my fabulous consultant and the wonderful folks on these forums! :D

4. Expectations - progress, not perfection. I fought every urge when I first joined to plot out on a spreadsheet what my expected weight loss should be each week and to define to the minute what I needed to do every day. My biggest downfall in previous attempts was to over think and micro manage my actions and thoughts while trying to become more healthy. I still need to track my food, use the info gained from wearing my armband and cross off my menu daily, but when I don't have to think too hard about portioning food and figuring out daily calories, carbs, proteins, fats, etc, how can I possibly fail? I know that the day will come for MOMOs but with the awareness and knowledge I am gaining now, I will be so well equipped to handle the finer details. :D

5. I am a work in progress - I still need to get more active but I can feel energy building in me, deep inside, that says it's about time to get motivated and to move, move, move. It's coming and instead of forcing myself into a hefty gym schedule, I will let it come naturally. B)

Have a wonderful week everyone! Life is good (and very easy!) with Jenny! :D
