aw... just checked in and saw my little thread is still active!

Andrea, congrats on the success you have had so far. Overcoming an injury and the trauma that goes along with it is amazing, and you are really doing a great job to recover both physically and emotionally.

i'm 9 weeks in, and have lost just about 14 pounds. i'm psyched, but of course, as anyone else on this will say - i wish it would come off faster. but i know, as experience has told me, this is a journey and anything worth it takes time and hard work.

i just re-started taking my Metformin to manage my PCOS, and it is really doing a number on my stomach. hormonally, i am all over the place and i know that the more weight i lose the better i will feel.

keep plugging away! we can do it.

thank you Kristin for your encouraging words. i have lost 50lbs two or three times before with weight waatchers but i always gain it back.... i think it was becuase i didn't deal with the physchological side of it. i am hoping that with jenny by taking the food aspect of out of the equation (being told/given exactly how much i SHOULD eat) i can deal with what else is really "eating at me".

May i ask why... or how... you gained your weight back? i guess i am afraid that i will too.
