:) A quote from Helen Keller;

"The Best and most Beautiful things in the world cannot be seen, nor touched...
But are felt in the heart."

Last night I saw a commercial on TV that touched my heart deeply. Two little girls are preparing for bed and the big sister is helping the little sister with all those bed time chores. Then as the little sister settles into her bed the big sister gives her a kiss stating this is how Mommy does it. Then you see Mommy walking into the room dressed in military fatigues and the little girls are overjoyed to see her.

So on this Veteran's Day I want to say a big thanks to all those who are serving and have served in the Armed Forces. I am very grateful to you and your families for your many sacrifices to keep our country safe.

Have a wonderful day because you deserve it! :)

Fabulous story!!!

Thanks for sharing it since I never hardly ever watch commercials anymore (TIVO). I would have never seen it.

Thanks to my Dad, my hubby and ALL those Men and Women that have given of themselves so that we still have the freedom to speak our minds even when we disagree, VOTE, do the work we love to do and come and go freely during our daily lives! :)

I'm not sure I'm happy I missed it or sad. Thanks for making me cry. :)

Thanks, too, for posting this and for thanking all of the men and women veterans. I don't think they get thanked enough.

My neighbors and I are putting together packages to go to our men and women overseas who might not be getting any holiday packages. We don't know who will get the packages but we know they will be appreciated.

Thanks to those who have served and to those who are serving now! God bless America!
