It's the end of week 5 on the program and I am still enjoying being here! It was an interesting week - stressful once again at work and I spent far to much time on the couch this past weekend.

The scale shows a loss of 0.8 pounds but I am far from disappointed! This ol' body is officially 9 inches less from tip to tail! Isn't that just wonderful? My plan for Friday (Remembrance Day in Canada) is to attend the ceremonies with my husband (20+ year veteran of the Canadian Army - soooo proud of him!) and then I am going shopping. Well, not 'mall' shopping but 'closet' and 'storage' shopping. Let's see what I can dig out of the many, many piles of designer clothes that I have put away over the last two years.

What have I done this week to make me feel proud?
-I am staying positive - even when I want to feel blue, I am managing some great positive self talk and being my biggest supporter
-I am channeling my JCC - she is a super positive person and I can see her as an amazing resource
-I can pinpoint where I need to improve - more water (yes! I am reading the posts from all you seasoned posters!), more moving around and certainly more sleep, which always seems to be the first thing that tells me I am stressed!

All in all, I am doing well and on this path to the very end! Have a wonderful week, everyone...I know I will!

Congrats on your terrific attitude! I, too, lost in ounces rather than pounds and, yes, it was sometimes (often) disappointing, but I didn't get discouraged (too often - LOL).

Congrats, too, on the loss of inches. Even more important when you're shopping (closet or otherwise). :)

Give your hubby a thanks for his service. (My hubby is also a vet.) So let's give thanks to ALL of our heroes and to the loved ones who waited and prayed until their son, daughter, husband or "special person" came safely home. :)
