First I want to say, you guys are so motivating and inspirational! Even when I feel down and blue, or like I'm losing my mind you guys are there to pick me up and dust me off. <3

As of this morning, I have lost a total of 18.5 lbs.

Woot!

Thank you! I do eat all my JC meals (except when I feel blue and try to eat SOMETHING healthy if I don't want a JC meal), I drink my water, I rarely if ever have any extra foods (like the free foods unless I run out of JC snacks) and I get some type of exercise in (even if it's just folding clothes or dancing in my chair).

I take it one week at a time. Once I hit my goal of 140, I'll try for less like 115 or 120. Now, because my frame is around medium/large, I don't know if I can get that low, but I'll see where my body sends me and hope to stay there.

I do! And! The Simply Vera Wang pants I bought last week that were a little bit more snug than I'd like actually fit better now and that was only one week ago! *bounces*

I know it helps I'm in my 30s and not older, plus my body never liked being heavy, but I haven't been in the 180s since after I lost some weight after 9 weeks post baby 13 years ago and the military MADE me work out daily for 2 hours.

Doing a HAPPY DANCE for you!!!!! Whoooo-hooooo!!!!! :)

BTW, how tall are you? I'm 5'2 and I'm around 131 and when I drop much lower than that, because of my body frame, people start asking if I'm sick. So right now, this is a good weight for me (now if I can only lose my gut - sigh).

Anyway, you can always change your goal weight.

BTW, who is that that you use as your avatar? It always make me think (until I remember it's you) that I'm going to be writing to some hairy guy. ;)

It's Ares, God of War, from Xena. Don't ask me WHY his pic is here on JC, but since I both loved Xena/Hercules and Ares from the show, I use him as my wee avatar.

I AM a girl. Believe me.

Okay! Found a pic I was using in my livejournal. I think this one is less manly and more 'me'. I think it's art someone drew, not sure. But it's supposed to be Edward Elric from Fullmetal Alchemist (an anime that I love more than any other).

Are you also a Dr. Who fan? (LOVE the new avatar!) And, yes, I remember Xena, Warrior Princess, from the "original" version quite a while ago. And, yes, of course I know you're a girl! ;)

I remember watching the eps from the 60s or 70s I think. Haven't really gotten in to it like quite a few of my friends, but I don't hate it either. I know Torchwood is a spin-off of that show.

If you have friends who are Dr. Who fans, have them check out this video series on YouTube. My BFF, Jeff Breslauer, is The Master. (He's done a ton of movies you've undoubtedly seen.) Anyway, this was a "made for the internet" version and it's really good. I hadn't watched the show before so it was all new to me but I really enjoyed it.

Please pass it along to your friends. Here's the link to Part 1 of the 10-part series.
