I work for a sales organization and we had a motivational speaker come and speak to our sales teams last July. He spoke about accountability and that the two keys to success are in your control - attitude and activity.

With a 0 weight loss last week, PMS and TOM, it's been a roller coaster of a week.

What I did focus on are the two things In my control - attitude and activity. I stayed positive during the times that my clothes felt tight due to water retention. During a few fit full nights of tossing and turning, I woke up and told myself that I was going to sleep all the better that night. I resisted more than a few business lunches and dinners and remembered that my Jenny food tastes awesome - certainly more wholesome than a piece of pizza! I held myself accountable by looking at my last invoice from Jenny and seeing that I need to make every penny spent count by giving this program my all. :D

I walked the dog, got off the bus three blocks before my stop and used my armband to monitor my daily activity. B)

Back to our motivational speaker - he ended his presentation by saying that you need to ask yourself every day "what have you done today to make you feel proud?". Today I stepped on the scale and lost two more pounds, a total of 10 pounds in 4 weeks and that's my proud moment for today!!!

So proud of myself!! :D (I am giving myself a big hug right now cause I did awesome this week!)

Well,let see...

1. I stayed on plan
2. I didn't touch the salt shaker (which is a biggy for me)
3. I drank LOTS of water
4. I walked further on my Power walk
5. I wore smaller jeans today

Wow,thanks for helping to bring that to my mind! Great thread!! :)

I walked for 2 miles today at lunchtime.
I pedaled my new recumbent bike for 30 minutes this evening for a total of 1 hour 20 minutes of exercise today!

Great thread!!! Let's keep it going!

Congrats, all! You have much to be proud of.

I got measured today and besides losing the 10+ pounds I had gained (hit goal a week or two ago), I found out that I also lost a total of 10.5 inches! That made me proud and happy. :)

what did I do today that I am proud of? I ate well, I went to the movies and didn't buy/eat anything bad, and I made my girlfriend smile ... well given the hour technically that was yesterday; but "today today" is an exercise day so I'll be proud of myself for getting in my walk before I travel to visit my brother's family.

Well, then maybe I was born in "south" Brooklyn, NY. We always used to call it supper as in, "Hey, Mom, what's for supper?" :)
