I'm new to JC...started today Nov. 1st. I was desperate for help so I called them and 15 minutes later I was in the JC office talking to someone. Although, I’m still very much reluctant because I don't know anyone personally that has used JC. I was going to do Medifast but everything is in powder form, no thanks! I need all the support I can get. I was doing really good on my own counting calories and all but all of a sudden lost my motivation and stopped exercising as well. I know there's a reason I fell off the wagon, I just haven't found it yet. So this time I'm taking baby steps and starting with food only.

I hope I made the right decision.

Thank y'all for listening.

Marissa

Hi Marissa,

I'm in Missouri City. I was surprised to log on and see someone from Sugar Land here.

Hi Marissa. I understand how you are feeling. I was in the exact same place ten months ago. You will not regret joining. The food is great and the program works! It is very convenient. And you will get a ton of support along the way. It really is the easiest program I have ever done - and I've tried everything! Not to say that there won't be bumps along the road, but you can be successful!

I just know that if I had not made that call and went to JC on Dec 29th of last year that I would probably be up another 20 or 30 lbs by now instead of losing close to 100. And I did it by eating chocolate cheesecake every night - how great is that!

Congratulations on joining! YOU CAN DO THIS!!

Marissa,

If you need support, you've come to the right place! :)

I'm in Florida but if you don't mind support from people all over the country (the world, in fact), we're all here for you.

The program DOES work! I lost 45 lbs., kept it off for over three years, did something stupid and regained 10 and ran back to JC and now I'm back on maintenance. Yea! :)

As you've already been told, the food is great, the plan - if you follow it - is easy and it works!!!

Want to see some proof from successful JC clients. Check out the pics you'll find here.

Before & After pictures

Probably the biggest thing to remember is that you have to drink a MINIMUM of 64 oz. of water a day. I know, if you're not normally a water drinker, it's a lot. BUT you can drink Crystal Light or buy another flavor enhancer, Mio. Think of it this way, that means you have to drink a half cup of water (or flavored water - not diet soda) every hour you're awake OR 8 8-ounce glasses a day. You can do that! ;)

Of course, exercise is also very important. If you're not used to exercise just remember that exercise is just...moving. That's all you have to do. You can start by walking. If you are out shopping, park far away from the stores. If you can walk somewhere rather than drive, walk!

If you're up to doing other forms of exercise, great! The more you move, the more you lose.

Most of us post on the GENERAL boards but, don't worry, a number of us will find you here too. :)

Tell us how we can help you and you'll get all the support you need. You CAN do this!
