If you can make him dinner that "compliments" yours but is of normal calories that will help too. For instance, let him eat a couple of slices of regular pizza and you have a JC pizza. Or if you're making chicken and pasta for him, you have chicken fettucine.
You be concerned with portions but he doesn't have to be.
I'm on maintenance so I make most meals that my hubby eats. I'll eat "normal" quantities and I'll fill up his plate. (He's not good at taking "seconds" himself but if I pre-fill his plate, he's usually pretty good about eating most of it.)
The trick for you to learn that I've found very helpful is to take your JC meal out of the container and put it on a normal plate. This does a couple of things for you. It helps you to feel less like you're eating "diet" food plus it also allows you to visually recognize what a "normal" portion is supposed to be so if you go out to dinner where they serve HUGE portions, you can ask for a "to go" box and then put everything in the box that isn't a "normal" portion (do this at the beginning of the meal so that if it's not on the plate you won't be tempted to overeat) and you can give him the "to go" box to bring to work for lunch or to eat at another time. And by seeing what normal portions are, when you cook for yourself or if you're eating at someone elses home, you'll know how much of what you can put on your plate.
And, finally, you have already shown REMARKABLE willpower by losing all that weight on your own before so you just have to make sure that you use that same strong trait to lose the weight you've gained back (and possibly more if you want) and not worry about what your hubby eats.
Unfortunately, men and women ARE different. They can eat more and not gain weight and they can drop weight with waaaay too much ease. I always say that if my husband skips lunch, he drops five pounds! Grrrrr It's also how I know G-d's a man!

Thank you this is such good information! I recently started buying him Almond Joy and Mounds because I don't like coconut. That definitely helped. I'm sure I can find other foods too. I'm a relatively picky eater!
