Hello fellow Vegetarians,
Just wanted to let any new people know that I have been on JC since the beginning of June 2011. At first, I was skeptical if I could stay on the program AND be a vegetarian. But I have lost over 20 pounds and I am only a few pounds away from my goal (yay). I have pretty much eaten the same menu each week since the start and my weight loss has been quite slow. About an average of 1 pound per week. Anyway, I am proof that you can do JC and be successful and be a Vegetarian!! So hang in there....
P.S. a trick for variety with your menu is eating different free vegetables each day and try lots of different spices. My kids even luv my spicy chili carrot 'fries'.

Congrats! I agree there is no reason why a vegetarian cannot be successful. There aren't too many choices, but sticking with the ones you love, and getting creative with spicing things up, and volumizing works wonders. Plus, temporary items are frequently introduced, and some are vegetarian. I'll have to add chili powder to carrot fries- sounds yummy!

Thanks for your post, I agree and have lost over 50 pounds and a vegetarian. You just have to get a bit creative but it is 100% the best weight loss plan for me and that Iv ever been able to stick with and be so succsesful. I have 2 pounds left and I know the last 10 or 20 pounds come off a bit slower, but the way time flys it will be here in no time and will all be worth it. Vanilla Bean, and everyone else, great job and keep the updates coming, I love to hear all of them.

Thanks for posting
It's good to know that other vegetarians are having success on program
I have started and quit twice because of the limited vegetarian options
I joined again last week, I guess I will need to be more creative with the stuff I do on my own
Carrot fries??? Do tell! I would love to know what those are and how to make them!
