MiniCoop - you're doing great and your attitude is exactly what you need to succeed. And, yes, those NSVs (non-scale victories - like seeing your clothes get looser) are sometimes even more fun to recognize than the scale heading down. Keep it up! :)

Day 12. Everyone is so inspiring! Has anyone substituted graham crackers for the snacks. I'd like to cut back on the products that contain inulin. Thanks!

Deb - That's awesome - congratulations!

I lost 1/2 lb today. I'm up to 10.5 lbs. It's sooooo sloooowww. But as I've said before...it's better than going the other direction. I can tell a real difference in my clothes and I've lost a total of 8 inches including almost 2 inches off my waist. Yesterday I received two items I had ordered on line - they were 1X and i had to return them because they were too big :D

hi all.

happy february! wishing everybody a very successful end of week and wonderful weekend.

had a great month, way better than i expected. have lost 35.2 lbs to date, tomorrow is official weigh in for week 13.

17.8 lbs to go! going to start strength training next week, to get stronger and build muscle!

wanted to share my new dessert - been hooked on the cookies n cream cheesecake (my evening reward) - adding a few dried cranberries, blueberries and sliced bananas, sprinkled with a bit of crunchy cereal - delicious!

All,

It was a rough week this week. It started off with Superbowl Sunday and too much snacking on all the wrong things. I went out of town for work Tuesday through Thursday. I did well on breakfasts (JC) and lunch (pre-planned but I ordered salad one day and a light turkey wrap the other day). But...I didn't do so well at dinner. I ate too many of the wrong things...not directly in my control as far as overall choices but what exactly I ate and how much were in my control. Then when I returned late last night and had not yet had dinner, I ate pizza that my son brought home. Ugh!:angry:All this showed on the scale. I gained 1.5 lbs! To top it off, I haven't been able to exercise like usual because I injured my hip a couple of weeks ago. I've only been able to do yoga (even walking causes it to flare up). It's disrupting my sleep too. :o

Back on track today and feeling much better. I also made a Dr. appt for next week to address the hip pain. It's just been too much of a disruption of my normal life.

Thanks for letting me vent...I know next week will be better with a better result. B)

Hi everyone i am starting back next thursday the 16th i have been on vacation and decided it is time to return after a 2 year absence. I called and made my appointment while i was on vacation so i will be ready to go in when i get back. I am so excited to get my life back gaining too much weight is really getting me down so i will need these forums to help me get through my struggles. I love the jc food but if anyone has any ideas on how to make them more filling at first please let me know. Can''t wait till next week to get started.

Congrats, Susan and Summer! So happy for both of you and proud of your accomplishments - keep it up!!! :)

And, yes, we all have "bad" days but it's not those that measure your success or failure but how quickly you bounce back - and you have - so whoooo-hooooo to you! :)

I am restarting Jenny Craig after about a 2 year hiatus. I had an ankle injury while hiking in Sept 2009 and that threw me off. I had lost 32 lbs the last time (my goal was still 28 lbs away) but gained back about 15 and held a steady state for about 2 years. But in the last couple of months I gained another 10. I'm sooooo uncomfortable at this weight and need to loose about 53 lbs. I'm really ready to start again! This time I switched to the at home program -- I just received my food and had my first phone consultation. I really loved the food last time so I know I can succeed again. I've planned my week including exercise so I'm prepared. I'm trying something new for breakfast this morning -- apple cinnamon waffles.

Best wishes and success to all of you who like me are restarting.Posted Image

Welcome back, Sawyer, to JC and welcome to the boards! Hope you'll visit often.

It's a great group of folks who are all going through or who have gone through the same journey you are (and a lot of returnees as well).

Please come to the boards often to talk about what's happening, ask questions, vent when you need to and just enjoy (and give) support to others.

And if you work the program correctly, this time can be the last time you'll need JC. :)
