First 20 lbs!

So I finally hit my first 20 lb. weight loss which is how much I lost the first time I did Jenny about 7 years ago. Back then, I thought I had it all figured out after the first 20 came off, and I decided I could do the rest on my own. But now, in my knowledgeable 25 years, I realize I was very wrong. Considering that I am now the same weight that I started at that first time I did Jenny, I know that I still have a long road ahead of me, and that this time, I have to do it the right way and stay strong. We must all realize that JC is not a quick-fix, but rather a complete life change. I can never go back to the way I used to eat, no matter if I lose 10 lbs or 100.
Thanks again to all who share their experiences. It is certainly nice to know you're not alone.
Have a great week!

Congrats Amber!
First of all I love your ROCKIN' attitude girl!!! I have all the confidence in the world that you will make goal with that kind of mindset
You are so right about JC not being magical. I think thats where alot of us fail, we think just by eating the food we will magically lose weight.....but in all reality you still have to work at it.......... FOREVER!
You are in a very good place Amber.....keep that determination and you WILL succeed

Hi Amber! Congrats on meeting that 20 lb mark! That is a huge milestone! I had a similar story to yours, kind of. In high school I did weight watchers and was very successful, I lost 15 lbs and was at my goal weight of 140, and then I stopped following the plan and gained it al back, and then some. Now I am 23, just married, and at 253 pounds I said "Ok, enough is enough." So far so good! It sounds like you have a really good attitude abbout weight loss- that is extremely helpful. Congrats on your weight loss!
