10 Pounds before turkey day!!!

I am going to set a goal to lose 10 pounds before thanksgiving. I would love it if any others would join me in this challenge! If you start this week, being the week of october 10th, it will be a six week challenge to lose 10 pounds. I am the type of person who likes to be made accountable so I think this would be a great way to set a 10 pound goal! Please join my challenge!!!! We can post our weigh ins every week. Who's In?

I'm in for 5.6 pounds!!! Been on maintenance and creeped up 4 pounds while nursing a knee injury for past 6 months.

SW = 143.6
GW = 138

However, I have my knee surgery next Friday so exercise will be cut back even a little more for a while. I'm going to give it a shot anyway.
50+ pound weight loss and into maintenance. It's been an exciting road and well worth the effort.

Here's to weight loss and a new life!

Lost my first 1.2 since we started our Thanksgiving challenge. Next weigh in is on Saturday so we shall see. Weekends are harder for me than during the week but that has always been the case. Hope you are having a great week!

Let's do it! Very reasonable goal. I like the 10 pound increments. Easier to stay motivated.

Hello Everyone!

I hope everyone is having a good week. I am sad to report that my weekend wasnt so good...Drinks and smores by the campfire on sat night and a sunday was spent with the family out of town but ended in pizza! This was the first time since I have started Jenny that I have felt disappointed in myself :( So I have planned to kick butt this week!!! I changed my Thanksgiving Day goal to an even 240.

Lisa GA- Great work with the 1.2 pounds!!! I hope Saturday's weigh in was successful...Let me know!
Baby B- I hope your surgery went well...I dont know if yo watch the new season of the biggest loser but in episode 3 or 4 Bob Harper trains one of the contetents with a bum knee and she had great results! check it out if you have time! : ) You will do Great! And congrats for making it to maintenence!

Hi Sara!

I lost .8 at my last weigh in. Glad to hear that your getting right back on track after a difficult weekend. That happens to me alot too. I find it tough on the weekends more than any other time but if I have a slip up, I just get right back on. Another thing I'm trying to do is that if I have a slip up at a meal, think of it as only 1 meal and not stay off track the rest of the day. Even with my weekend slip ups, I'm still losing and I'm happy with that. I'm sure I would be losing faster and more each week if I would just conquer this weekend thing. Have a great week!
