Hi,

I recently injured my foot while running and I'm looking for an exercise that I can do that will be low impact. Does anyone have any suggestions? I've noticed that even walking for extended periods of time will aggravate it.

You can find some great chair exercises here:

chair exercises

It will give you a workout but it won't aggravate your injury.

Feel better soon! :)

Do you have an Elliptical or have access to one? That would be less abrasive or tramatic to your foot...or swimming would be good too.

I don't have access to an ellipitical. However, I am considering joining a gym just for that reason. I figure they might also have some other machines that would be good for low impact. Thanks for the suggestion. :D

Zumba Gold, that's a new one. I'll have to look into that. I've heard people say they love Zumba because it's so much fun. Maybe this one will be fun too. Thank you. Hopefully, my foot will heal quickly if I can find ways not to aggravate it. I appreciate all of the suggestions that I'm receiving. I am grateful that I have a place like this to come to for help. :D
