Welcome, MGW!!

As Melissa said, you'll get out of JC what you put into it.

So don't "try" Jenny - DO Jenny! :)

Seriously, in many ways it will be the easiest plan you've ever been on. You won't have to "guess" at what you should eat. You only have to decide what you're in the mood for on any particular day (unless you're on the planned menu and then you just follow the plan).

As you go along, you'll also learn lots about how to eat once you've hit your goal. You'll learn about portions and how much protein, carbs, dairy, etc. to eat and that you have to eat often (every 2-3 hours) and that's going to probably take some getting used to. But it really does keep your metabolism going at its most efficient.

It's a totally different way of looking at food so keep your eyes open and really take this as an opportunity to forever change your life for the better rather than just being yet another diet. :)

Welcome to JC and the boards! We'd love to chat with you often. :)

Welcome! I have 50pounds to lose, too. Well, now 44pounds. :) I like this program because it is easy for me and gives me the structure I need!
