I am two-tenths of a pound away from my goal.

What is the JC maintenance program?

Basically you're on your own...to a point.

You can do MOMO or still buy JC foods. The calorie count goes up a bit and you go in to see your JCC once a month (if you choose).

At the end of a year from your goal date, if you stay within 5 lbs. of your goal weight (up or down), you get back half of your registration fee.

Now, the one thing I would say is to maintain your membership annual fee (it's less than a $100) because if you ever have to come back, you don't have to start over. (Some of the programs require you to start over and pay your initiation fee again-not sure which one you're on so check with your JCC).

I kept the weight off for three years and then I started to see the scale start to climb. (I was eating almonds for my digestion but was eating way too many of them and that's what caused the weight gain.) Anyway, when it approached the 10 lb. mark, I ran back to JC because I couldn't take it off on my own.

IF and I'm not saying you will but IF you see your weight start to go up, DO NOT WAIT until you've regained 10, 20, 30 lbs. or more before coming back. There are many returnees and there is no shame in coming back for a tune-up and refresher on what it takes to lose the weight and keep it off.

And, by the way, CONGRATS on almost reaching your goal!!!!! :)
