I just tried the new Apple Waffles. Save your money. You get two one-inch pieces of waffle -- about 2/5 of a waffle all together -- with some tiny pieces of apple and the hated veggie sausage which also ruined the pancakes. And this is $5.49? Ironically you can get fat-free Aunt Jemima frozen waffles that are only 80 calories. You can have 2 of them plus diet syrup at less calories than the Jenny meal -- all for about $1.25.

Another example of the poor tasting over-priced breakfast options that Jenny offers.

I like them, too, but prefer to heat them in the oven so they are crispy like they come out of the waffle iron. Mine were soggy when I microwaved, so the next time I separated them from the apples and baked them. Much better!

I really enjoyed the waffles and I kinda mixed the sausage into the bites to improve the flavor of the sausage itself. YUMMM!!

I am going to have the waffles tomorrow for breakfast. The sausage taste much better when I heat it up in the pan. I am not crazy about the sausage but when I eat it in the same bite as the topping and waffle I believe it will taste better. That's what I did with the pancakes and sausage. I added sugar free syrup to the pancakes but I am going to try the waffle without it since there is the apple topping.

I found that heating up some applesauce and adding a portion of it to the apple waffles really adds to the flavor and full feeling.
