I really loved this waffle this morning. I sure hope it is a permanent item. The veggie sausage was so much better than the one that comes with the pancakes. I have been dying for new breakfast options. I can;t wait to try the berry bar later this week and am also happy to have the cinammon rolls back! I am still anxious for a new egg dish since I am not a fan of any of them except the Sunshine Sandwich. I want a quiche, strata or egg casserole baked dish so bad!

I bought it but haven't tried it yet. My JCC said she found that it's even better if you use a regular oven or toaster oven to cook it. She said that the texture was much better so I'll try that and let you guys know what I think.

Take a Beano before you eat it next time. Then you can enjoy the sausage without the gas. :)

Good to hear that the Waffle is very good, will make me think I am back in Brussels, once again. Now, talk about their waffles? So wonderful with probably a million calories!

I got on this am to find out how to cook the waffles because they are so soggy. Otherwise, delicious. I am going to do the toaster oven next time. I was looking forward to kind of crunchy edges on the waffles and I hope the toaster oven does that. I think I will take the waffles out and do them separately. Can't wait till tomorrow to try it again.

Got to go take a walk and drink my water!!!!

Ah waffles. Welcome back my old friend. But your sidekick - that sausage- *sigh*. Couldn't you find someone better to hang around with? :)

They had the apple waffles when I started last year and I loved them. I just can't get past the veggie sausage! I get rid of the sausage and add a serving of morning star veggie bacon which I love, it goes great with the apples on the waffles.

I had the waffles this morning and thought they were awful. They were soggy, and I don't know how they could call them "waffles" because they were 1 inch wide. It was like 2/5 of a waffle. The apples pieces were miniscule and the veggie sausage was the same awful veggie sausage that also ruined the pancakes.

You can get an Aunt Jemima fat-free waffle for 80 calories -- a real waffle that is 4 inches by 4 inches square. Two Aunt Jemima waffles cost about 80 cents; the Jenny waffles are over $5. To me, another example of how Jenny does not do breakfasts well

I thought the waffles were good, but agree the portion size is ridiculously small. The sausage though...I think it is much worse than before. The one I got last week basically disintigrated into veggie crumbles in the microwave.

I separated everthing and cooked the waffle in the toaster oven which made it crunchy, the sausage in a non-stick skillet so it was brown, and the apples in the microwave. It was much better than just cooking the entire thing as it comes in the microwave or regular oven.

I liked it, small portion yes, but I definitely preferred the sausage in this meal than the pancakes!

Love the Apple Cinnamon Waffles. Thanks all for the tip about the toaster oven.
I consider myself very lucky because I like almost ALL of the food that JC has. I know alot of people have struggled. I think that is why it is working well for me. :D

(also because I lasted only 1 week on Nutrisystem....yuck!!...sorry, i think their food should be outlawed):P

It really did add to the dish both in flavor and bulk - two good things to stick to the plan.
