I LOVE Mexican food as well and I really like it. I add a ton of veggies to it to volumize it. Mix it all up together..... YUMMY!!

I tried it for the first time last night. I did not like the hard beans. Black beans is one of my faves, but these were uncooked. The beans in the pasta ole are not like this. Other than that, the taste was OK, but not one of my favorites.

My beans were as hard as little rocks...yuck! Without, it would have been a nice dish. :)

I have had this twice now, and while, I really liked the flavor, I did not like the hard beans the first time I tried it. So, I bought it a second time with an idea. I took the plastic film completely off and added about 1/3 cup of water and then covered it with foil. Then, I baked it in the oven (in the container on a cookie sheet) for about 40 minutes at 375. Last, I took the foil off and baked it uncovered for about 10-15 more minutes. It was delicious and the beans were tender!

I absolutely LOVED this meal. Was way bigger and more filling then many meals and tasted a lot more like what I would actually get in one of the local mexican restaurants here in Austin :) Wish I had bought more!

I quite liked it, but yes the beans are not cooked enough, I thought it was just one batch, but it seems to be a constant. Funny they manage to overcook all the veg, how hard is it to cook a black bean?

Is the chicken tomatillo a frozen food or a shelf staple?

I tried it last night for dinner. Hated it. I hate cilantro and I could really taste it. It was too spicy for me. Every one has different taste preferences. But as for me will not order again.
