I bought the Grilled Chicken Tomatillo today. I LOVE spicy food and I was warned that this was spicy but this was REALLY spicy and hot.

It also was one of the most filling dishes I've had from JC and it reminded me a lot of something I might have had from Chipotle's restaurants.

It wasn't bad but it also wasn't something I'll likely order in the near future.

Wonder what others thought of it.

Hi Phyllis!
I had the chicken tomatillo yesterday for dinner. I really didnt like it. I like spicy food but it just wasnt for me. I think i read somewhere that it is supposed to replace the cheesy enchilada which I am disappointed about because everyone says good things and I didnt get to try it. Have a good day :)

Whitney, if it makes you feel any better, I never liked the Cheesy Enchilada. :)

I bought one today, will post after I try it. Tried the curry chicken tonight, nice flavor for a change of pace. But shelf stable always lack texture.

Way too spicy and the beans were not cooked all the way through. Doubt it goes into my regular rotation, but at least it was something different.

I really, really liked this dish! It also reminded me of a Naked Burrito at Chipotle. All it needs is some fattening guacamole- ha ha. A girl can dream. I am pretty sure I will keep this in my regular rotation. I thought it was spicy, but not overly.

I really liked it too, and will buy regularly. Try some low fat sour cream instead of the guac - or have some guac for your fat for the day instead of salad dressing. Sounds great!

It wasn't my fave, but I did like the chicken in it, thin sliced and very tender.

I didn't find it spicy just finally some spices that helped the food. The black beans were just awful. I don't care for black beans to start and then to have them in the dish uncooked was just wrong! I will try it again and take the beans out!

I really liked it, it was filling and had some bite to it. I grilled some mushrooms on the side and actually didn't mind the beans.

LOL, I was excited when everyone was saying how spicy it was. Then I got it and was let down, I thought it wasn't spicy enough at all! Still loved it!

just joined and got 2 of the chicken tomatillo because of reviews...I can eat almost anything but I gagged eating this one...so sorry for those that like it...it was watery and really foul tasting...I dont know why I am having a hard time this time around with new Jenny foods...only day 1 but hope the rest is alittle better bc I wound up eating 2 of my snacks to compensate for horrible taste

I'm a fan of this one for sure! It is spicy, but I like spicy.... Not burn your mouth hot, but it has a kick. I also love the charred veggies, and it does remind me of chipotle!

I am not a bean eater, so I love that the beans are hard because it makes it very easy to remove. :)

I also stuffed the Tomatillo chicken into two peppers this week and thought they were amzing! This is a good one in my book!

Hmm, good to know. I was planning on ordering it for the first time tomorrow. I guess I should select something else.
