My hubby and I rode our bikes this morning for 10.4 miles!! New record!
Yesterday we were trying to do the 10 miles but it started POURING rain at 4.4 so we quickly got back to the car. However that makes 14.8 for the weekend. YAY!! Feels good!

Melissa, I find this SO interesting. You have called me Donna twice now... I am Debbie.... ;-) What I find so so interesting about this is that I had a dear dear friend who has since passed named Donna. We worked together for many many years. And people ALWAYS called me Donna and her Debbie. We didn't even look anything alike. And YOU have never even met me. Maybe my parents should have named me Donna... HA HA!!

Oh and yes, he is a good guy. We have a great time exploring the trails together.

Agreed!! Hey don't be sorry. I think it is fascinating that I get called by that particular name.

13 miles today!! Last week after our ride, we did some shopping and found me a big ole wide seat with lots of padding. I call it my Big Butt Bike Seat. It was SO SO much better to sit on my BBBS today!!!

I also bought myself Jumba for my Wii. I swear I was sweating just watching it!!! I had the little ones over this evening and they were helping me learn it. They thought it was pretty cool. My vote is still undecided.

Well I'm glad you found a bike seat you like but 13 miles! WOW!!! Now that's REALLY impressive.

As a young teenager I remember a whole bunch of us (13-15) took a 25 mile bike trip (one way) to visit Teddy Roosevelt's house one summer (I can't even begin to remember why) and it just about killed us. LOL We all collapsed on the lawn of his home for about an hour before we had the energy to go inside.

You are a GRANDMOTHER and you did 13 miles!!! I am soooooooo proud of you!

Keep up the GREAT work, Debbie! You might just inspire me to get off my fat butt one of these days. Of course, it would be helpful if the temperature dropped below 90. B)

Jumba is an exercise where you do dancing to Latino music. It really got me sweating pretty fast!!!
Several gals on the board swear by it, so I figured to give it a try in the privacy of my own living room!!

Combined with the biking and the Jumba, I got nearly 3000 calories burned yesterday according to my armband. YAY!!
