Hi everyone! So after a terribly challenging week I was down 2.4. I had a really rough week with my mom in the hospital, dealing with insurance etc. I am really proud of myself for pushing through and not using this as an excuse to divert from my plan. My J.C.C. was excited with me but she really disappointed me with her comment. We talked about how focused and determined I am. She said "Yah, with all the money you are spending you aren't going to let anything stop you."

Actually, 2 years ago I was 304 pounds. I could not bend down to tie my shoes, had to nap every day after work because I had 0 energy left over. I poured with sweat just standing in place. I still have a long way to go but now, I work out for an hour per day at moderate intensity, have a ton of energy, feel happier and healthier. I was just bummed that after all of my accomplishments that was the most motivating thing she could say to me? "Don't waste your money." J.C. is expensive but for me, this journey is deeper than my bank account. My life depends on it.

Sometimes people say things that just come out wrong...I am so totally guilty of that. I am sure she didn't mean to say anything to burst your bubble. She was probably just having a dumb attack. Don't worry about it, no reason to stress yourself out over it. You are doing great!!

Oh ya, and I hope your Mom is ok!!

Don't take it to heart, your JCC was probably just suffering from an episode of "foot in mouth" disease. It happens to me (too often). Grrrrr - but I'm working on it.

I think you're doing an AMAZING job!

Hope your mom is ok (and yes, insurance forms can give you a major migraine - sigh).

Thanks ladies. I thought maybe I was just still a little over emotional. Thanks for understanding!

Yep, I totally agree with Reddy and Phyllis....we all have brain fart episodes, and she was just having one evidently. You are doing fantastic girl, and I am sure she thinks so too....so give her the benefit of doubt....Lord knows I'm guilty of foot in mouth syndrome. lol

Best wishes to your mom also.
