When you sign up with the 50% off coupon, it makes it like $199. What do you get for $199?

Love, basically that fee covers your weekly consultations with a Jenny Craig consultant (JCC) and the opportunity to buy the JC food.

Your consultant will guide you through the program, discuss anything you have coming up in the next week that might cause you the need/desire to go off the plan (going on vacation, going out to dinner with friends, going to a wedding, etc.) and will help you with any particular problems you have (dietary - i.e. allergies, diabetes, etc.) or challenges that you've had losing weight in the past.

You can also, of course, call your JCC during the week and, of course, the boards are always available with a lot of us who've been on the program for a long time.

And you get the ability to buy the JC foods which is the biggest part of the program. The JCC will lead you through the beginning of the program, help you as you get to your halfway mark where you will start incorporating meals on your own (MOMO) and days on your own (DOMO) so that when you've reached your goal and start maintenance it won't be as "scary" for you.

You'll learn portion sizes, the ratio of carbs to proteins and veggies - a MAJOR portion of the plan.

Seeing (or if you're on the at-home program where you talk on the phone) you consultant helps you with accountability and knowing that there is someone who is there to help you over any tough humps you may have.

At least that's been my experience...although I'm on a slightly different program than the new people are now...but that's the basics. It's the opp to buy the food and the consultations.

I've been on the dozens of diets over the years and I have to say that this is the easiest one to lose the weight on and to keep the weight off (three years for me).

Call the 800 number and talk to someone. They can explain all of the particulars.

If you don't have the 50% coupon (and they are really hard to find these days), once you lose the weight and have maintained it within five pounds for one year, you'll get half of the registration fee back.

Hope that helps. Make the call. It will be worth the investment in your health and your body. :)

You asked about the discount, well here's GREAT news!

I was in my JC Center today to for my WI and to pick up food and saw a poster announcing that JC will be offering 50% off all of their program fees (not the 20 lbs. for $20 ones) for three days only. The promotion runs from September 16-18 ONLY!!!

So if you haven't made the call, call them TODAY to go in and sign up.

I've been a JC client for four years and it's GREAT!

This discount is only available to new and returning clients.
