Hi everyone. Although it's exciting to go down sizes and be able to buy new clothes, do you ever feel just a twinge of sadness getting rid of things you love? One of my favorite dresses is out the door. It is FAR too big now. It's a good feeling but also kind of a bummer. Anyone else feel the same way?

Yep. I bought a new dress for new year's eve. Wore it once and it's now at Goodwill. I had one shirt I held onto just because I liked seeing it in the closet, but that's gone now too.

I had favorites also...but it didn't bother me one bit to see them go. I fit into much nicer stuff now My children are willing to wear my clothes so I know the styles are way cool!!

That's a good point, Reddy. I try to remind myself that the next dress/outfit will be much cuter than the one that was has to go!

I felt the same way too - but now I'm starting to collect a few new favorites -and they are way more stylish!

Think of it this way, you're giving away a favorite outfit so it can delight someone else.

I had this one shirt I loved SO much that I shrunk that sucker small enought to fit me. haha. I just kept washing it and drying it on high til it fit......now that is desperate to keep a favorite!
