Hello all--
To those who are questioning the cost...take it from me who has struggled with affording the program...it is worth every penny regardless!!!
I spend roughly $78-95 a week on foods with JC. I spend another $40-60 in groceries each week. I don't buy fast foods and I don't buy junk any more. People always scream at the pricetag, but forget to figure in the stops at Starbucks, the vending machines at work, the fast food lunches and the take out for dinner on the way home, etc. How much are they really spending each week? It adds up to much, much more. The quality of the foods are really great--like I would make at home if I froze individual portions. Compare that to a lifetime of diabetes meds, heart meds, high BP meds--JC is a steal. I also can't put a price on how great I feel now.
Even when I was stuggling financially, my DH insisted I stay with the program. He said that my health was more important. I've been on a very long plateau right now, but I'm still trying and that's key. I don't ever want to be the woman I used to be--I've even been told I'm sexy by a man who isn't my DH! I'm 50 yrs. old!
You are worth every penny you spend on yourself--it's an investment in YOU! That way you can be around for your loved ones and participate in their lives for a long, long time.
Gotta go, but luck to you!
