Hey jhkfan,,,,,  Welcome to Jenny!!!

Well I was born in KC, MO... does that qualify me? I also got my grad degree from K-State.... I live in Ohio, so I am not officially from Kansas, but I still have lots of ties back there (family etc)!!!  I really will forgive ya for being a Jayhawker - HEE HEE!!!

There are people here from all over. We are just one big happy family and we can pull you through most anything!!!
Come back early and often!!

No matter what happens, we always have a choice. Even when it seems that there is no option, there is always something else that can be done. What happens in our lives is the result of decisions that we make.

I grew up in the KC and Lawrence areas but lived in Cincinnati when I was first married, so we have alot in common! We have been in the Wichita area for 22 years now. I previously lost 30 lbs on LA Weight Loss, but they went out of business & I gained it back!  Would love to lose it before the next spring break trip. I have my first weigh in today, so hoping I've lost at least a couple pounds! Wish me luck!

Another weigh-in: 2.5 more pounds! Only problem I'm having is a lot of gas!  Any tips about that?

You are doing great!  I've read cutting out the anytime bars helps with the gas and taking Beano.

Still feeling good, down a couple more pounds. Have been eating the anytime bars at night instead of the middle of the day & that seems to agree with me more.  Ready to get to 10 lbs. lost next week!

Another week down! I have lost 6.5 inches overall & able to tell a difference in my clothes now. Hoping this doesn't hit a wall soon.

Welcome to JC! I am new here as well, I started JC about 4 weeks ago, but I just started posting on the forums yesterday! My name is Molly and I am 23. I live in Overland Park, Kansas, with my new husband- I got married on July 17! So far I have lost 8 pounds- woo! I love the program- it really isn't as difficult as I thought it would be, partly because I love the food, and my consultant is so helpful!

Glad to have you here! :D

Hi Jmcape! I like Lee's Summit... it has a cute downtown and good shopping! Haha! Have you lived in the area long? I grew up in Kansas City, and I just moved to OP with my husband about a year ago! :)  It's nice to meet someone else who lives so close to me!

Hello guys,

I live in olathe, KS. I started Jenny about a year ago and hit my goal of 135 but now I need help with working out.
Just can't seem to get myself to do it like I should. I do it for a few days and then stop. I guest its because I havn't found something I like. I know I love to box but its hard to find a good work out with boxing. I found this Title Boxing club but just don't know if i can afford it. Your first class is free. Going to see if my boyfriend will try it out with me and see if its something we can do toghether.

my email address is Shannoncotsworth@yahoo.com if anyone wants to chat or whatever.

Have an awesome day
