I need help with motivation. I've only lost 8.4 pounds in 12 weeks and most of that weight was in the first 4 weeks. I have basically stayed the same for the other 8. How do you guys manage to keep a social life in your 20's and not go way off on the diet?

I am also really getting tired of the food. I can't eat peppers so my meal selection is very small, and with the turkey dinner gone I'm even shorter on choices. Any suggestions on how to get interested in the food again?

Well, you need to jazz up the Jenny Craig food with your own foods and seasonings... They now have a new cookbook out which helps you actually turn some of the JC foods into something else!! The cookbook is called Creative Recipes. Try it.
Also, I cannot eat green bell peppers at all, but, I found that I am perfectly able to eat the red bell peppers with no problems!!!! Plus, there are big enough green ones in the (still frozen) Chicken Fajitas that you can see them and pick them out, easily, before you cook it. -Boy, it is worth it, too. They are so delicious. I learned too, that you can add fresh sliced mushrooms to it and it is really good. I have even added more sliced red bell peppers, I sure hope you can eat the red ones!!!! But, pick them out, also, if you are certain that you cannot eat the red ones. Just add something else. -The seasoning is so wonderful in those fajitas!!!! I hope this helps you!! I would hate it if you gave up!!!! Don't worry about how long it has taken you to lose the weight, but rather, rejoice that you have lost it!!! Check in your closet and see if there are smaller clothes that you can wear now. -Always puts a smile on my face, and I know it will on yours, too. :D

ya, I'm at the point where if cut peppers have come in contact with my food in any way, I know about it 30 min later :S So I can't even pick them out. That's the other reason I'm hesitant about the book. It has ways of making all the dishes more interesting, but I can't eat half of them :P so I don't know if it is worth the money.

Oh no, Jane!!!!! It is bad that you cannot even pick out the peppers!!!! I guess the book would not really be worth it to you, as you said. I wish the would come out with pepper-free foods!!!!
