Hi everyone. So the past 4 weeks have been interesting scale-wise. Down 2.6, down 0.4, down 3.4, down 0.4. I think I see a pattern...Does anyone else experience a pattern like this? I am clearly happy with any loss but happier with bigger ones of course! Just curious about other peoples experiences (and Yes, I realize that everyone is different).

I'm pretty new, but yeah, my last 4 weeks have kind of been like that too - not quite the range of yours, but close. My #s are in my siggy.

Yes, I was there too in my original weight journey. Often I found that if I was retaining water (or didn't have a bowel movement in a day or two), my loss would be significantly less but it would "even out" the next week.

In reality, you're probably losing 1-2 lbs a week (after the first week when you'll see the biggest loss). The difference is that it's possible you're actually retaining water on your low-loss weeks and when you're not, that's why you're seeing the bigger numbers.

Try to make sure you drink as much water as possible the day before your weigh-in so that you're not retaining water and stay away from any of the "cheesy" dishes that JC has on the day before WI. I find I retain more water on the things like the fettucine or carbonara than with other meals.

As long as the scale is consistently going down, I wouldn't worry about the weekly differences. It sounds like you're doing great so far. Keep up the good work! :)

Yes, this happens to me. But my pattern is more two weeks in a row of good loss (2 to 3 lbs) and then two weeks in a row of very little loss (0.5). I am convinced it is related to hormones. My sister just started the program and is experiencing the same. Her last three WI were 0.5, 0.5, and 3.4.
