Hey everyone! I just joined JC and I am finishing my last year in college. I am a B2B in May 2013 and while that is a ways away I decided to start the program for dress shopping in a year or so. Anyone else in 2013? Definitely am struggling with feeling hungry but I will work up to it and exercise more! The food has been fantastic :)

Hi!!!
I am also getting married in 2013! we are doing a destination wedding in Punta Cana Dominican Republic in feb 2013! even more reason to drop the pounds!! I have been on and off jenny for a couple of years, started a couple years back lost about 30 pounds, then had to go off of it due to financial reasons, started again this year and have lost over 60 pounds with about another 30 pounds to go!! So welcome!!:) You will find Jenny really works! of course its hard and no diet is ever easy!! but the lessons jenny teaches really do work!
I have found the last 20-30(depending on what my final goal is, im still not sure) i have found to be the hardest!! feels like the first 30 pounds melted off and the now the last 20-30 have been clinging to me like glue! but i am determined to get them off and thank god i have over a year to do it! lol
Congrats on the upcoming wedding and making the right decision to join jenny!:) come to the boards often they will keep you motivated and involved!:)

Much happiness to you both!

I didn't know you were getting married, Kylie! :)

Hey, I was a professional wedding planner for over 25 years so if either of you need any tips or ideas, give me a holler. :)

Kylie, I know you already know this but wanted to share this with our newbie Winterfresh.

Yes, it's great to have a goal like a wedding to use as inspiration to lose the weight but try to really see the bigger picture like wanting to be healthy for the long haul. Statistically people who are trying to lose weight for an occasion like a wedding, high school reunion, etc. usually are the least successful at keeping the weight off once "the big day" is over.

But if you use the lessons you're learning on JC about portion control, the amount of protein, carbs, dairy, etc. that you're supposed to be eating daily, you'll do much better in the long run.

Welcome to the boards and keep in touch. We're all here to help. :)

Hey, post a picture of your fiance! We want to see who is going to get to marry "our girl." :)

And I know destination weddings are easier for the couple but if you have a question, please feel free to ask. :)

Hey - Thanks for the nice words everyone! I am slowly but surely getting there on eating right long term. I don't have much weight to lose but being in college made it tough because I ate everything and anything I wanted. I am a senior and graduating in May so I'm getting stuff together haha Hopefully Jenny Craig can help me transition to real life eating sometime soon!
