I have been on Jenny for about a month now and I really don't like any of the Breakfast foods they have. Does anyone know if eating a small bowl of special k cereal in the morning is a good way to still loose weight on the program?

I love Special K, I sometimes use it as my limited free foods because you can have quite a bit for not very many calories or fat! I'm sure you could totally have it for breakfast, just try to match the exchanges or the caleries/fat/carbs with the JC cereals. You can also try asking the dietician how much you can have for breakfast.

It should be fine. I actually use the Generic brand of Speacial K in place of the JC ceraels.

I have the special K with red berries for breakfast often! I wil do 1.5 cup and 1 cup of milk for a total of:

Cal: 260

Fat: 0

Carbs: 50

Protein: 14

Cholestrol: 5

Fiber: 2

Sodium: 455

Compare this with a JC breakfast scramble and a glass of milk:

Calories: 280

Fat: 4

Carbs: 36

Protein: 23

Cholesterol: 25

Fiber: 1

Sodium: 560

I mean it's not perfect but if you ask me, it's a pretty darn close exchange!!! HOpe this helps! I use Sparkpeople to track my calories and figure out exchanges!
