foodie & travel worthy food?

Secondly: the "travel foods" are sad. Really sad. Pretty much all we're offered is tuna and chicken salad. Really? Must that be the only food other than green salads/raw veggies that we can eat when we're on the go and away from a microwave? It's my contention that a special line of JC foods could be created to keep up with our mobile society. Maybe call it Jenny on the Go. It would very closely resemble MRE's (meals ready to eat-made for the military and campers) with a self-enclosed heating packet if needed. When I'm on the go, sometimes I intend to come home but something comes up & I'm out longer than I expected--wouldn't it be great to have a JC meal with you that doesn't need a microwave? How about encouraging us to go out and hike or walk or ride bikes or do any number of healthy outdoor activities but give us something better than tuna or chicken salad to eat? Personally I would probably not feel too well with either of those on my stomach if I was out doing something physical. What about people who travel for work? Wouldn't it be nice to have something you don't need a cooler or a microwave for that is better than the salad kits? We want to have our Jenny food with us to stay on course, but the options we have are meager at best.
I think it certainly should be something the meal creators and JC dieticians should look into. My two cents.
