I can well understand your frustration at the slight increase in pounds, but remember two things: 1) Let them weigh you - don't get on that scale at home until the end of the week; and 2) Because of the increase in water and the water contained in veggies, that will happen at first. Also, try to incorporate some exercise even if only a 20-minute walk (which can be done by simply walking around room to room).
Hang in there, don't give up and keep me posted!

Kittens Hill - Hello! Even though this is the beginning of my second week, I am really loving this program. I have tried them ALL and I can see this is the best plan. The food is fantastic - I think you'll like it. I do think if you want to really lose the weight, it is imperative that you join a center and weigh in each week as well as meet with a counselor (ask for Brigitte to start). All of the Baton Rouge counselors are wonderful. That way, you will be "held accountable". They give you a list of what to eat and when - liking that!! No brainer. You'll also have people like me on line who will support you. Like anything, you have to stick with something like this and every pound counts - with each pound loss, you'll never see that number again. Remember: it's not a race. It's about health and about maininting that weight loss. Keep on the path and when you look up, it will be 5 pounds, 10 pounds, 20 pounds...If cost is a consideration (understandable), imagine what medications and doctors would cost if one were to get sick. The very fact that we are doing this means we can't do it ourselves and need help - so please join and I'll be happy to help support you in any way possible

Not sure if you got a buddy yet in the Baton Rouge area, but I am a newbe. I just joined today, Sept 26th and would not mind having a buddy as soon as I get the hang of it. I, too, am a 3 time weight watcher drop out. Hope this plan works. Hope to hear from you.

My name is Aimee and I just got my food today and will start jc tomorrow. I joined out of the lafayette office though. If anyone would like a buddy through this site or email I am available. I need all the support I can get.
not only plan, but also believe.

i am using the jenny at home program in lafayette la. i have hit my half-way mark (loss 11 pounds!). my goal was to lose 20 pounds total but recently i began to think a 26 pound loss would be more healthy for me. i do not have a buddy yet which can be difficult at times (especially when my fiance orders pizza for himself). i was wondering if you had a buddy yet Aimee? i figured since we live in the same town perhaps we could support each other in our weight loss efforts.
