Turkey Dinner Discontinued?

Since this is my favourite food, I provided the only response that came to mind:
Lean Cuisine and some other diet brands carry turkey dinners.
*Really* dislike this decision.

I can't eat GREEN PEPPERS, but I found that I can eat RED PEPPERS. I wonder if you are like that, Jane? -The RED ones are milder. Now, there is one JC MEAL with both kinds of peppers in it and it is the Chicken Fajitas, which is a kit and you can actually pick out all the Green peppers before you cook in in the pan... I used to eat the Turkey Dinner all the time, like you, and now I think I will just eat more Chicken Fajitas as they are delicious with fresh salsa on them.
Hope the suggestion of picking out the peppers, helps.

I would suggest doing as I'm going to do (unless Jenny Craig brings it back): I'll just buy another brand of turkey dinner. There are a few of them out there.

It's gotten progressively worse. I use to be able to eat all peppers, then I couldn't eat them raw, then I couldn't eat them cooked, now I can't eat anything that has been cooked with peppers, or that have had peppers touching it. Went for allergy testing and came up negative, but the Dr. said my issues sounded like an intolerance, similar to people who have an intolerance to shellfish.

However, as was otherwise noted, there are low-cal turkey dinners out there that will work as a substitute.
BTW, I can't eat green peppers either but I can eat red, orange and yellow ones without discomfort.
Also, there is going to be a pumpkin spice cake coming in the Fall. If it's like the one we had in the past, it's yummy! It's what I take to Thanksgiving dinner for dessert.

Re: the staff finally admitting the the turkey dinner was discontinued... It was not about admitting it; it was about corporate making the decision to discontinue it and then telling us.
For weeks, we were told that it was a vendor issue (quality). They were working to resolve it. Then that information changed to the entree being discontinued as they were unable to resolve those vendor issues.
Trust me, your JCCs hate it when this happens. Who wants to be the bearer of bad news and tell their clients that the item is gone? Not I.
Corporate has not oficially confirmed if they are looking for a new vendor or if we are replacing the potatoes in the entree. I'm not really sure where that info has come from. And maybe we will see that the entree is replaced. But if that is the case, I would imagine that corp would be in the beginning stages of doing that.
But I do cast my vote for a replacement. Loved it!

I'm sure you're right, but that was certainly the perception I got.
It's amazing that the Mashed Potatoes with Beef is still around (YUK POO!) but something so good and filling as the Turkey with Gravy is discontinued. I like sweet potatoes but i would really prefer mashed with my green beans and stuffing
