Today is the last day of Week 12 on Jenny and I've now lost a total of 23 lbs. Also, today I got my very first compliment about losing weight from someone who had no idea I was even trying - which means - THEY NOTICED!!!!!! WOO HOO! THEY NOTICED!!!!! That is exciting. I've been very secretive about being on Jenny because I didn't want everyone asking me how I was doing and how much I'd lost every time they saw me. Fear of failure? Probably. Anyway, I really thought I'd probably have to lose 40 lbs. before people began noticing. Soooo - I'm happy and encouraged to continue on. Also - this means - 23% of my weight loss journey is behind me. Everyone - join me in a HAPPY DANCE!!!! But --- ALSO --- my challenge for the week is that tomorrow I'm to meet friends at my favorite restaurant - OLIVE GARDEN - how am I going to handle this one?

AWESOME! It's quite nice when someone notices isn't it? I was about 30 down when people really started to notice. Good luck at Olive Garden =]

I think I was around 30 lbs. before people started noticing something was different about me. I didn't tell anyone either. I have been on so many different diet plans over the years, I didn't want them to think "oh, here she goes again". They all thought it was my haircut, so it kind of became a joke among my family. But now, everyone realizes that I have lost weight. It certainly is a good feeling when someone asks you if you have lost weight !
