New 6 week Challenge?

Hi ladies! I have gotten to a point where I could see myself losing momentum. I have lost 12 lbs, but have 11 more to go. These are the most important lbs, but I find myself cheating. So I went to the gym this morning and I am ready for a new challenge. I propose lose 10 lbs in 6 weeks! I need someone to celebrate with once I hit that GOAL! Who's up for it? Oh, and I am going to celebrate by buying a new dress.

I'm up for a challenge, Bethany. I've been having a hard time staying on plan lately and can use the extra support.

Bethany and Lisa, count me in! I've been on maintenance so all my meals are on my own, but I want to have more accountability to remain steadfast at my 138 goal. So, six weeks puts us at ... September 5th. Great! That's my 53rd birthday, perfect timing. I'm in!

I'm up for the challenge as well. I just rejoined yesterday after taking a break since October. I have also joined a gym. I wanted to lose my first 10 lbs in time for my birthday, Sept 11th so this is perfect.

I'm also in! Not quite ten pounds, but trust me, they feel like 20 and isn't easy to loose the last ones!

5 pounds and in time for my 5th wedding anniversary on 08/26/11! The lucky five!

I forgot to check in last Sunday. I had a really good week last week....down 5.4 lbs. Mind you I was really pigging out prior to re-joining. This week has been much slower. Tomorrow is my weigh-in. Hopefully I will be down 1 lb.

Checking in. This week I had a great loss of -2.4 which is really weird for me since I usually lost at a rate of ounces or just one pound per week. But I'll take since I didn't loose a thing last week due to TOM and too many BBQ's in between. :)

I was down 1.8 lbs today at my weigh-in. I am trying to lose 2 lbs per week if possible for 6 weeks..and then start another personal challenge that is a little more reasonable. I am going to try to see if I can go to the gym at lunch time this week to do their 20 minute workout. Hopefully that will help to keep me on track.

Hmm....followed the plan this week plus I went to the gym 4 times. I was down .4 today. Not quite what I was hoping for. I am going to try more cardio at the gym this week to see if that helps. I have a day out planned on Friday that will totally blow my week, but what the heck, I think if you deprive yourself of special occasions you just get frustrated. So....I am planning my week around Friday to try to minimize the damage.

Well, the 6 weeks are up and I endup up down 11 lbs. Not too bad. I went out last night and had a huge meal mind you for my b-day so I wouldn't be surprised if I end up gaining this week. My goal for this week is to just try to maintain as I have a lunch planned for Thursday as well. Then I will get back on plan for next week and do another stint of 6 weeks. Maybe just go for 8 lbs this time. I guess it depends on how bad I am this week.

How did everyone else do?
