SO discouraging!!!!!!!!!

I just had my weigh in for the week, and for the second week in a row I am exactly the same weight. I know, at least I didn't gain, but I follow the plan to the T so it is quite discouraging. What is weird though is, the past 4 days I felt like I gained until this morning I woke up feeling awesome and skinny(something that even after -23 pounds is rare!). I even feel like my body is in better shape today than my last actual weight loss two weeks ago (I do cardio and moderate weight lifting a couple days a week).
Has this happened to anyone else?? I am 10 pounds from goal only! I can't figure out if it's that my body is too used to the 1200 calories and it should be lowered, my body is forming muscle, maybe I shouldn't weigh less than 145?? I don't even know if any of those CAN be true during weight loss. Maybe this just happens during weight loss?
Any words of wisdom???

It is completely unhealty to eat less than 1200 calories a day. Do not adjust your diet. This won't work for the long term either. You've identified that your body looks better today than it did two weeks ago- you've still lost inches I'm sure! That's the best sign to let you know how you are doing on this diet. Always remember that muscle weighs more than fat- but inches never lie! maybe it's time you checked how many inches you have lost?
As for being below 145 pounds, though it is true that some people's physiology makes them bigger than others, your healthy BMI is based on your height and your weight. If your BMI tells you that you are at a healthy, normal weight for your height, then maybe you have hit your goal already? It is possible to still lose weight of course, however you want to stay within the 10-15 pounds that your BMI tells you is right for you. Check out a BMI calculator online to see.
Speak with your consultant about the lack of weight loss. Sometimes your work out will require some variety in order to beat the plateau. Change up your work out to still include the resistance training but go heavier on cardio if your number one goal is more weight loss.
Hope that helps.

This process takes time. It is a marathon, not a sprint. It is a gift to yourself. Be kind to you. Keep on exercising! Build muscles! Maybe ramp your exercise routine up a notch. My son told me to exercise for an hour each day. I hate to admit it, but he was right. It worked wonders! Give it time. Best wishes to you!

Before trying this, please talk to your JCC about it ;-)
Well anyways, I did what is known as calorie cycling(do a search of calorie cycling, there's a lot of threads about the concept). The basic concept is that one day you will eat 1200 and the other day 1500, you get the idea. The purpose is to keep your body guessing and break the dreaded plateau. Another thing that I always do, is ALWAYS (sorry for the yelling) is to used the JC's planned menus starting from week 1 to 4 over and over again. By doing this, I don't mess up with the calories and I have an structured menu to follow. Keeps me from straying and combining JC foods with too many carbs or calories together. Eventually, I broke the plateau and lost around 2 pounds in May and and 2.5 in June when finally I hit goal. Needless to say that after hitting goal, I went on vacation and gained the 5 pounds that took me three months to loose in 10 days, but life is life and you have to enjoy it. I'm back to 145 with a goal (again!) of 140 and then will push it to 136. I know is probably too low, but don't blame me for trying.!! I'm not an expert but why not share with you what worked for me. Good luck and let us know what you decide to do.

i actually listened and tried measuring myself, and i have lost about a half inch since my last actual weight loss, so that was definitely more encouraging than that darn scale!
these forums really are great
