Why don't you make an appointment and sign up for the 20 lbs. for $20 (which basically means you go on the program for 6 or 8 weeks - I don't remember) and see if you like it. To get the best results, you will have to buy the JC food but that's going to be up to you.
Jenny works for many, many of us. But the average weight loss is 1-2 lbs. a week (some more, some less). It depends on so many things and since you have relatively little weight to lose, yes, it's not unreasonable to only see a 1 lb. loss or so a week. (Sorry about that.
But let us know what you decide. There are lots of us on the boards who would love to support you!

Happy to help. Geez, I'm also 5'2 but if I was 113 lbs. I'd be emaciated. LOL But, if you want to be 100 lbs., then go for it!
I'm not sure how old you are but, in general, the older the we get, the more our bodies want to keep some "protective" fat.

Yes I joined Jenny on the $20 for 20 lbs plan and so far after three weeks, I have lost 10.4 lbs. I am also a previous Weight Watcher member and agree that the progress on that program is slow. The upside is you can eat almost anything in moderation. On Jenny, you must use only their food in the beginning. I find the cost of the food to be a little expensive, but since I am having such good results I am biting the bullet. I previously tried Nutri System and could not even eat the food (it was so horrible) Jenny's food is very good and filling. So far I have only found about two items I did not care for. If you can manage the cost of the food, I would recommend you give it a try. The counselor I have is really wonderful and very supportive

The new plan is called Jenny, Set, Go and it's four weeks for $30 (my center said it was replacing the 20lbs. for $20).
You can renew it every month for $30, buy the Jenny food for extra money, and you get a Jenny consultant. As long as you don't have to lose a lot of weight, it's a great idea. But if you need to lose like 30-40 lbs. or more you'd do better with the more traditional JC plans because it would be cheaper over time.
