I've got about 100 pounds to lose. Ouch. That's hard to see written down in black and white.

Anyway, I thought the tens rule seemed to be a good way to approach this. I lost the first ten during the first two weeks. I'm on week 3, and as of today, I've got 5.8 left to hit the second set of ten.

A couple of days ago, I started feeling a bit discouraged. It's a bit daunting what I've set out to do for myself. And fears about being able to do this have been setting in. I am an expert in dieting, healthy lifestyle, etc. I even work for a health and wellness company! I know every fact there is to know about losing weight, yet I have failed at every single attempt to do so. So I bought those Linda Spangle books everyone keeps referring, "life is hard, food is easy", and "100 days of weight loss"....

I'm not a jump-on-the-bandwagon kind of gal, but I've read 20 pages of the first book and I've already learned something new, insightful and valuable to this journey. I guess this old chickee doesn't know everything... wink.gif And it's given me new inspiration to keep going.

Whatever it takes to be inspired you should do. I don't look at it as bandwagon stuff. I read books, read these forums, articles, talk to people everything I can to learn more & stay inspired. We are on the right track!
