I live near Peoria and have been in for two weeks. I am down 5 pounds so far, but spent the last 4 days in downtown Chicago and Six Flags. (Fell off the wagon.) I was looking for a support group but there were none in my category, "Nearing 40 Fat Moms". I don't know anyone else doing it right now, so I could use the help! Kristin

So, how are you guys doing? How long have you been on JC? Any big challenges so far? One that I am having, which is a little unexpected, is that I am suffering a little socially. My BF and I have kind of just stayed at home on the weekends while I'm trying to get settled into the program and we are starting to feel isolated! Boo! So, I am going to use my splurge this weekend to go out and have some beers(MGD 64) with our friends.
Would love to hear your thoughts, challenges, etc.!

I hear you! We've been 'home bodies' for the last four weeks too! And although I think that's no way to live, I had to do it in order to get the weight loss going in a good direction! We are going to venture out and about tonight. I'm saving my fats as well as my 250 cal. splurge so that we can go down to the riverfront tonight and have a couple beers and see a couple bands, so I'm totally excited about that! YAY! FINALLY!
