Hi everyone,

I had my second week weigh-in last night. I lost 7.8 pounds my first week (you have to remember that I'm starting at 317 pounds!). That was super exciting though. I thought for my second week, if I could at least lose 1.5 pounds I'd be thrilled.

Well I hopped on the scale at my consultation after work and what do you know?!?! I was down 4.2 pounds! That's a total of 12 pounds in two weeks! I am SO excited about that! I've been following the plan perfectly....no silp ups or splurges...and the most excited part is that I haven't felt deprived of food. Now don't get me wrong....if I had a huge black bag of Smartfood White Cheddar popcorn at my place we would probably become friends very quickly at night while I'm watching tv! But it's not there so when the craving comes I drink some water....put some zero calorie iced tea mix in it and I'm good to go!

My dog and I are attending our National Agility Championships August 4th and I had hoped to have 20 pounds off by then.....8 more pounds to go (three more weeks left) and I will have hit 20. I realize that I am going to plateau at some point, but right now things are moving onwards and upwards...or should I saw downwards! Yippie!

Hope everyone else is doing well and is still feeling super motivated!!!!!

Take care!
Your friendly Canuck - Crystal & Jovi (The Sheltie/Devil with the Blue Dress On!)

Congratulations! I had similar results when I started JV also, and have continued to lose each week. Just stick with the program and you'll be fine. It really does work! Just think how much more energy you will have in August at the dog show! It's amazing how much more energetic you feel after losing 20 lbs or so. It may not show on the outside, but you can definitely feel it on the inside. Keep up the good work! -Louise
